Mildred was back home in her territory. She returned in the morning after she paid Nicole a surprise visit at her home to threaten her to stay away from the vampire hybrids.
She had managed to keep the facade that she had a wonderful morning visiting Lucas and his brothers at their luxury penthouse apartment, when Alpha White and the other werewolves asked. They were pleased to know that all went well.
She didn't want to tell them the truth because this time she had vowed to fight dirty against any vampire or vampires that once again stood in her way of true love and she knew Alpha White would not be in support of her if he ever knew she intended to fight dirty.
