Chapter 153
Charles and Angela were both not themselves as they stayed together at Charles' apartment. They had decided not to show up for work today because they would have been so distracted by their thoughts of Nicole that they would have made several mistakes in the tattoo art of their customers. All they could do now was just take the day off work and try to manage the situation as best as they could.
Angela remembered what Charles told them to do before they left Nicole's apartment. They were to clean and keep the apartment clean, especially of their scent. They knew the vampire hybrids would come looking for Nicole eventually, probably in 10 hours time and they would have a hard time convincing them if their scent could still be actively picked up in Nicole's apartment. So they cleaned the whole apartment and made sure they left no trace of them behind.
