Chapter 182
Almost 2 weeks had passed since Lucas rescued Nicole from Dracula and the vampire hierarchy. Nicole had moved some of her things to Lucas' apartment and was now staying permanently with him. The city had returned back to normal and everywhere was as it used to be.
Lucas had just wrapped up his first movie and was on his way with his brothers to pick up Nicole from the tattoo shop. He was the one driving their luxury sedan, while his brothers sat at the back. The front passenger seat was reserved for Nicole. Lucas had recovered his car that same day and had brought it back safely to his residence.
They arrived shortly at the Tattoo shop Nicole worked in. Lucas was extra happy today, happy because he had completed his first movie and also because he had a big announcement to make tonight.

Ambrosia and Mary had finally settled down to life in the central part of the city. They had looked for one of the best and most secure residential buildings in this part of the city and had settled for the high rise luxury building the vampire hybrids lived in but unknowingly to them. They were staying on the 10th floor. They chose that floor for many reasons. From the 10th floor above, you could rent the entire space of your floor without having to share it with anyone, so that meant they had a lot of privacy. Also if there was a need to escape from the building in case there was a threat to their lives they could still jump from the 10th floor and survive. Whatever wounds they sustained would not be fatal because of the height and their bodies would heal themselves in seconds to minutes. Dracula had converged at the edge of his territory as he had been instructed to do. He was not alone. He came with all his new 6 Generals; Apollo, Jones, Tasha, Matthias, Kim and Cleopatra. He didn't know if she would show up tonight at midnight as she had earlier planned 2 weeks ago. He waited in the darkness of the night, only the full moon illuminating the night.It was now a quarter past midnight and Dracula had lost faith she would be coming as planned."The witch has not showed up as expected. Well I am not surprised, she never meant to help us anyways", Dracula said, as he took one final look around his surroundings. Suddenly he saw a lady approaching them from out of the blue. Dracula and his Generals made their way back to his territory and lair. They were gathered in his court where a new throne had been made for him to replace that which Lucas spoiled. Lucas and Nicole were coming back from the apartment after having a nice time together. They had spent their evening in the central park of the city taking in nature and enjoying each other's warm company. It's been barely over 24 hours since Lucas proposed to Nicole and she had accepted his proposal to marry him. They had fixed their wedding for the following weekend, something lovely but private. Just the 2 of them with Mark and Andrew. If they were truly out to harm Nicole they would try to pull a surprise strike on him, seeing only a few inches separating them or they would try to lie directly to his face.
