Nicole got back into her car and felt a little relieved she had summoned the courage to tell Lucas the truth about himself after the shocking revelation he had just told her. He had killed over 8,000 vampires in the space of some few weeks he had known her, while she had killed zero people all her life, since she was given birth to as a vampire.
She didn't want to fully think of all the implications her action would cause her later, as she started the car and slowly drove off into the empty street.
She was going to drive home. Her adrenaline levels were still high as she was still breathing fast from the experience she just had and was trying to steady her breath as she drove.
It took her a while to get it under control with deep repeated breaths.

Lucas was back inside his apartment where he saw his brothers standing who had overheard his conversation with Nicole.It was not really a conversation but more of an argument. Nicole laid down her head to sleep as Angela joined her too.
