A Vow

I looked away from his face, not able to see the rage in his eyes any more. I took a deep breath and began to explain.

“We were at the garden earlier and Logan_”

“_He did what?” Prince seethed dangerously and I flinched.

“He didn’t do anything, he only h_”

“_hurt you? Did he attempt to hurt you?”

“What? No, Logan is my friend, he would never hurt me” I exclaimed sharply before I could stop myself and his eyes narrowed.

“A friend? West?” He repeated incredulously and I realized what terribly mistake I have made referring to him as my friend.

“I see, so you two have gotten close enough to be friends” He said with a thoughtful nod before lifting me off his lap and back on the bed.

I watched in confusion as he moved to the door and pushed it open and called at Logan and soon enough, he walked in and stood before us.

His eyes darted and met mine briefly before it darted away and back at the Prince.
