I was surprised by Logan's plan as I continued to at him. He was eagerly looking at me, probably waiting for a reply but deep down in my heart, I knew, I’m not going to risk my life like that.

"No, I can't do it," I said to him.

"Why? is it because the prince won't like it?" he asked me.

"No, Logan! It is too risky and not safe. What if the king's guard catches up with us?" I asked him back.

"They won't," he replied.

"How sure are you? you know the punishment for this, we would be hanged when caught and secondly our village and people back home would in trouble.

"I heard there is another human village far away from here, we could go there instead and they won’t be able to find us. We will be able to leave together, quietly without any disturbance. A free life”

Logan sounded so sure as he stares at me with hopes in his eyes.

"Just stop it Logan, I don't want to leave. I'm not going anywhere," I replied, shaking my head in refusal still.

"But it is for the best, the prince is getting en
