Feelings

“Prince!” I exclaimed when I realized it was him.

“What are you doing out here?” Prince asked as he came and stood beside me while Logan straightened immediately with a deep bow at his presence.

I was suddenly lost for words as I stood with my head lowered, my hands clasped together.

“Why is she out here by this time“ He said with a glare at Logan and he quickly lowered his head as well but before he could explain, I quickly replied.

“it was my fault” I began and he turned to face me, his eyes soften a bit.

“I thought you would be asleep by now only for me to return and find the room empty” He stated, his eyes narrowing back at my flimsy piece of clothing hidden behind the heavy coat on top.

I felt his finger under my chin before lifting my face up to look at him.

“Speak, Iris. What happened?”

I swallowed back the lump in my throat. “I’m sorry, Prince. I couldn’t sleep so I asked Logan to bring me here. I didn’t realize it was late into the night already”
