I’ve been to many sporting events covering the players I am assigned via Ruben’s paper, but this is incredible. I’ve not been to a hockey game in quite some years, mainly I have been covering basketball and baseball. The crowd is insane, there are throngs of people outside the stadium and inside where we are right now.

“Ready for the spotlight, Petal?” He asks me as we move inside the building, his lips turned upwards, damn he has a cute smile and those icy blue eyes of his are doing things to my insides. I clench my thighs together and remind myself I must not get any designs on sleeping with Alex Stone. He is off limits as far as I am concerned, what gain would there be? Although, I guess a bit of fun wouldn’t go amiss.

My bestie, April keeps banging on about the fact that I need to see some action. It has been a while and to be honest, the sex hasn’t been that great with my previous boyfriends or lovers. I mean it’s been okay but nothing I’d scream from the rooftops about.
