I come round the corner laden with pizzas for me and my guys tonight and some beers and whoa. Who TF is she talking to? I know that guy. Is he hitting on Immi? I practically run towards her almost dropping the pizzas. I knew I should have taken the trolley. That would be the empty trolley since Immi doesn’t seem to have moved much since coming in.

That’s obviously because she has been way too busy chatting with Dean friggin Hopper. He only plays centre for our opposition and we’re only up against them next week. Where did he spring from? My eyes narrow as I take in the situation. Immi sure is doing a lot of hair flicking with that pony of hers. Her hand touches his arm. Twice. TWICE.

“What’s going on?” I say as I approach them. Immi jumps out of her own skin.

“Darn you, Brannigan why you gotta shock me like that? What is wrong with you?” She looks pissed. Again. “This is Dean,” I stop her right there.

“I know who that is. He’s playing us next week. Centre position to mine. Hopper
