Somebody pinch me now, I cannot believe that I am up in a helicopter with Cody Brannigan, the same guy I crushed on in High school and the man I came to dislike for being such a jerk to me when I was an adult. You know, the same one I have been avoiding every time I came back home for the holidays.

I feel warm inside, like it’s the first time somebody has really, really cared for me. Sure, I’ve had some good times with my on-off guy back in New York but that was more like friends-with-benefits, whereas the way I’m feeling right now, like a princess is totally different.
