—No," Dad said, interrupting Lucas' mother, "We hate seafood.

—Of course. I guess on your ranch you're just used to eating eggs..... The common stuff and they don't know how good seafood is.

My father observes Lucas' stepfather who as usual doesn't know how to measure his tongue when speaking, idiot.

—Just because my family has different tastes than your family doesn't mean we know what's good. And that ranch... the one you call it as if it were a garbage dump is the one that produces the wheat so that your family can taste the bread.
