CHAPTER 42

Things seem calm, for now, since what happened at the hotel, I woke up alone with him in the room, he was awake, Clark was gone, things didn't turn out as I expected and I couldn't stop what happened because I challenged him myself and he agreed, but he was frank in saying he would never do that again, and that he hoped after what happened he would believe in his feelings for me.

He gave me a week to think about his proposal, a chance for us to be the family we always wanted, it has been four days since then, he hasn't shown up, not even to see my twins, as far as I understand he looks at them when Lucas takes them to live with his daughter.

The only thing I know about Clark is that he went on a long trip, I wanted to talk to him because I felt we should talk about what happened, but his answer was simple "it is better to forget about it" and the last thing he said was that he already had an answer for both of us and about my doubts which I still had during the time I lived in Europe.
