Alessia's POV

I left the room and Stefano was not there. I thought it might be with Elijah. My hand was cold as I traced the way to the room where Elijah was staying.

I can't stop thinking about the girl Elijah was hugging. Even if my sin is great, I can't stop feeling bad. But I don't want to be angry because I have no right to that matter. I would like to but my priority right now is to make everything clear. After that, whatever Elijah's answer will be, that's when I'll make a decision.

I reached Elijah's room and I was in front of the door. A sentinel is watching over there. They saw me and immediately bowed to me.

"Is Elijah there?" I asked them calmly. But before they could answer, the door opened and the woman with him was spat out. I felt like I was out of breath when I saw it up close. It's too beautiful.

My chest was suddenly filled with various reactions. In this mess, I can't name it. Pain, confusion, and questions. Those are the only three that I'm sure of.
