Alessia's POV

I opened my eyes and saw Elijah standing in front of me with a frown.

I want to frown because I remember what Ynna said. Liar! I wanted to yell at him but I didn't. I'm out of place, and I shouldn't be.

"Why majesty?" I tried to ask him calmly even though my muscles were shaking because I wanted to know the truth.

"Is there a problem?" He asked me worriedly. I feel like he notices that my ex is not good.

I'll be silent. "There is no majesty," I answered him even though I wanted to shout that there was. I'm just holding myself back because I'll look like a fool if I'm a slave to my feelings.

Elijah stared at me as if he was reading me so I improved even more pretending that I was fine.

"It doesn't look anything to me, sweetheart. I already told you, I trust my instinct more than my eyes when it comes to you." He promised me and I wanted to slap myself. He can sense if I'm not feeling well. I can deceive him visually, but not his instinct.
