"There's nothing you can do but wail and cry," said Wilson who had just joined Catherine. The man occasionally frowned as his lips smiled.

Deric quickly dragged his body out of the shackles of the wheelchair. When he was at the edge of the pool, he took off his suit and plunged into the pool without a second thought.

"It's more interesting than any dramas I've ever seen." Wilson beamed. "I can't let this pass me by."

"Am I going to witness how true love exists?" said Catherine.

"There is no true love in this world, Catherine. You watch too many dramas."

On the other side, Deric swam towards Caraline using the strength of his arms. The woman's voice was no longer audible, all his ears could catch was the sound of water splashing as it was torn by Caraline's two arms that were flailing around.

"Caraline," Deric said. He quickly grabbed her waist to keep her head above water.
