All the way home, Caraline couldn't help but smile. The curve of the crescent moon was firmly planted on her beautiful face. Her heart warmed, bursting like fireworks in the dark sky. Although she said nothing after she left, she had no regrets about following Diego's request.

Diego had sent her a thank-you note. However, she had no intention of replying. It was punishment for suddenly asking her to take a photo.

As soon as she arrived at the residence, Caraline got out of the car. Her eye caught sight of Deric at the edge of the lake. When she realized that he was approaching, she immediately quickened her pace toward the house.

"I'm not going to let that deformed man ruin my happiness tonight," Caraline said as she entered the house. When she arrived at her room, she immediately threw herself onto the bed.
