Heavy rain poured down on Heaventown this afternoon. Drops of water were trapped on the window pane. Deric and Helen were at a cafe having lunch. Several people were seen running outside the building to avoid the rain, followed by vehicles pulling over to the side of the road.

The cafe was rather quiet. There were only a few tables occupied. Some employees were seen cleaning up some dirty tables and delivering orders.

Deric observed the water droplets on the side glass. His fingers slowly followed the falling raindrops which then coalesced into larger droplets. His gaze seemed to be locked on those objects even though two glasses of hot chocolate and two slices of bread were now served on the table.

"You won't get your fill just by looking at me, Helen," Deric said as he turned to the woman in front of him.

Helen suddenly tensed up. Although the cold air came with the rain, her face felt hot. The bespectacled woman quickly turned her gaze to the other side. "I-I... didn't do it."
