My Sickness Is Nothing

"Hey Hayley, Lance will definitely call for you or come to you," Gray said, breaking the silence. "From there you can possibly ask him to throw more light on his sickness."

I nodded.

"Sure, I'll definitely be expecting that call."

I walked away from Gray and went to the one place in this castle that enabled me to feel in tune with the inner me. At my workshop, I opened the drawer I had kept the witchy doll and picked it up to inspect it. Eavesdropping seemed like the handwork of a curious person. Who wanted to know more about my life? Who, if not you then who? I had someone I suspected but I could not possibly answer how she could come in undetected.

Lance had sent a random werewolf to call me up to his room. I didn't even have to go through the trouble of knocking because he opened up the door for me as soon as he sensed me. The room was spacious like a living room. It had a king size bed and everything looked so orderly and beautiful in it.
