On Three

Sonia was in the fields and she was surrounded by Beam and three other children. She was sitting on the ground while one of the boys wrapped his tiny arm around her neck. From afar I could hear her explaining why the children needed to stop playing so much and start taking their own personal training seriously.

"Beam most especially you," Sonia said. "You play a lot and you know Lance will soon scold me for it. Now then you guys should meet Grey and tell him to give you guys the lesson plan. Beam I'm placing you in charge of the children's pack."

Beam looked like the world had just been dropped on her shoulders. She slouched and opened her mouth but one glance from Sonia made her swallow whatever protest she had coming up. We crossed each other and this time around it was I who stuck my tongue out for her and she glared.

"It's nice that you're making them go through the troubles to train!" I said, finally arriving at Sonia's back.

Sonia got up

"Soon they will realize that it's no t
