Mr. Knight's POV

" Don't pour him another glass." Aubrey's voice permeated the air and the bartender stopped pouring the glass. I was annoyed at her audacity. How dare she come here and try to make orders?

I growled in warning and the bartender wore a conflicted look on his face, he didn't know who to obey.

" Don't make me do something drastic." Aubrey narrowed her gaze at him causing him to be afraid and I looked at her.

She was dressed in stilettos and a flaming red gown. It was as if she was going to a party. This tiny woman putting fear in a full-grown man's heart was so amusing. She jutted her chin daring him to disobey her.

The bartender shot me a pleading look and I decided to come to his rescue. " You can leave."

" But sir..."

" Leave." I replied. I was the only patron today.

He picked up his keys in a hurry and rushed off not before shoving them in Aubrey's hands before exiting.
