Chapter 44: Spying on their Date

Saturday morning, Layla and Kane left the house.

After they left, I waited for a few minutes before taking out my car keys. I followed them.

Of course, I don't have anything going on today. Nor did I contact Gabrielle or Levi to make up a lie.

If I were to involve them, those two would not allow me to be left alone. They might join me in following these guys. With other people in tow, our spying would be obvious and we might end up ruining this hard-earned date.

Initially, I don't plan to follow them but this was Kane and Layla's first date. I am kinda anxious, especially with Kane's zero romantic experience. If something happens in the middle, I bet this man would just end up escorting Layla directly to home right after the task.

Or what if Eduardo learned where Layla was and wanted to interrupt them? Who would stop the unnecessary people who wanted to meddle with them? This was a rare opportunity that we can't waste.
