Chapter 94

Charles is a sleepyhead, and it's always hard to rouse him up. He never wakes up at the first time I shout his name in the morning and yet hearing my voice was enough to wake him up today.

"Yes, it's me," I told him sweetly, and sat on the edge of his bed. I rubbed his hair softly and smiled at him.

"Your not sick anymore?" He asked. This time, his eyes are now fully opened.

"No, I'm okay now."

My brows knitted together when he coughed deeply. "Are you okay?" I asked him worriedly and placed the back of my hand on his forehead. "Charles, you're having a fever!" I exclaimed.

Charles sniffed. "I feel cold." He tucked his blanket closer to his body, shaking.

"It's okay, you'll get well soon. You just need to take some medicine." I smiled at him.

I looked at Charlie's bed, hoping to see her, but I was surprised when I found it empty.

"Where's Charlie?" I asked Charles.

"I don't know, I just woke up," he said in a weak voice.
