Evelyn's pov

When we arrived back in the Packhouse I told Kian that I had to go and meet my stepmother he was surprised by this he told me that every time I met her or we crossed parts we always seemed to get into very nasty arguments but there was no need for me to waste my energy on somebody like that. I knew that the hospital would probably call us to ask her about her opinion and they also told her about the condition of My Father.

"I just want to put her in place before she starts getting any more funny ideas,"

I knew that she was still urgently and desperately searching for any way under the Sun that she could use and twist up in order to have my father forcefully taken off life support so warning her like this was necessary even though it was tiring.
