Thankful again that I’m left to sleep in, sparing me from the embarrassment of vomiting here and raising suspicion that it was more than just nervousness yesterday! Tryna stay on track with my regular workout routine that my OBGYN has approved, I get dressed for a run! I woke to the sound of someone puking and I realized the bed beside me was empty. “Amory?” I called out to her. “I’m fine”, I hear her call back from the bathroom before her stomach unloads again. I got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom door, where I found her wrapped around the toilet practically. Shit! Fuck! Pregnancy sucks is all I can think of as my head hangs over the toilet of Jonny’s bathroom, which is thankfully very clean considering a male uses it! I’m dry heaving as I hear Jonny’s half-asleep and raspy voice call me from the bathroom door. “Amory”? “I’m fine”, I lied! I’m so not fine… Did I mention pregnancy sucks?! After breakfast, Amory packs up all her stuff and I drive her back to her apartment.
