Chapter Thirty One
It was late evening when the door bell rang and the servant opened it, she almost collapsed as she looked at the two guests standing on the doorstep. Unable to contain her shock and excitement she rushed back inside the house screaming.
The two guests ushered themselves in, the dog came running wiggling its tail excitedly as it recognized one of the guests, and he knelt down allowing it to lick him all over the face as he tickled it all over. It was evident in the eyes of the other guest that the pair had missed each other.
‘I missed you too, I hope you have been a good boy,’ the elated guest said
The dog barked in reply before setting off in the direction of the living room causing the guest to laugh.
