Chapter 46: Intensity

The moment we landed in front of the cave, Namir eventually get out to meet me. I guess he's been waiting and he already smelled me from afar. How he fondly clutched on me shows he really missed me for not being with him last night. I giggled as he licked my face.

"Yeah, I know. I missed you too, Namir. Glad you're okay after what that madman did to you." I muttered to my tiger. Namir purred like he sounded sorry and it kinda broke my heart.

"Yes you do. You couldn't even handle that feeble thug and let Nemiah get kidnapped." Amaris scolded Namir.

"Did my tiger say something?" I was confused on how he responded to Namir's purr. Namir just growled at him in response.

"Of course I do. He was saying sorry for not being able to save you. That's your tiger, why are you asking me? Don't you understand what it's saying?" He wondered.

"No." I murmured. "That's amazing. I wish I could understand him too." I added, as I rub my fingers through his fur.

Amaris rolled his eyes. "If you only knew."
