Chapter 121: Beach side

We walked arm in arm-into the park. There were people of different caliber going to and fro the place. There existed the feeling of home as everyone seemed joyful and mindful of each other.

Jayden and I moved into a seat and soon, the waitress came around.

"Good evening to you all, what would you like to have?"

I looked at Jayden's face, he didn't seem to hear the young girl.

"Hello, mister." She called out again to attract his attention to her.

"Oh, yes?"

"What do I serve this table?" The waitress asked.

Jayden gestured for her to ask me, "I'll go with whatever she wants."

"Grilled mackerel with salad, add a glass of apple juice." I looked at Jayden but his eyes were on his cell phone. He seemed worried as though he had seen something that had rendered him weak and flummoxed.

The waitress brought the food and soon we were eating. "Let me go to the lavatory, I'll be back soon." I nodded at him.

"Don't take long,"
