Chapter 56: Congratulatory Message

My husband climbed up smiling, "She wishes to be mine forever, don't you?" He asked turning to me with an expression soliciting for a 'Say yes'

I nodded and slided the little knife through my cake.

"Today is my happiest day so, I'll be offering my wife the sum of ten billion dollars for her birthday. She's free to use it for whatever pleases her."

Hearing the sound emitting from people's clapping hands and cheers deafened me.

He hugged me tightly and we shared a kiss. "Thanks my love."

"You deserve more, you deserve better."

That was it! It was lovely.

We all sat around a long table to eat. I got to meet different people from Jason's family.

We introduced ourselves and exchanged pleasantries amongst each other.

Suddenly after we'd started eating, a sound rambled in my stomach giving me a nausea feeling.

Since I was the celebrant, the queen of the day, I pretended as though I was okay thinking I could cheat nature.

I sat uninvolved, I was neither eating or drinking.
