Chapter 93: Sudden Visit

I remained quiet wondering whether or not I should speak up or hang up.

He didn't wear his glasses as usual so I could see the worried expression in his eyes.

"Lisa?" He started walking into the kitchen, his eyes settled on the telephone that I'd dropped on the table out of fright.

"Who was that on the phone? Your boyfriend?"

"Oh, no, sir. I don't have a boyfriend."

"Who was that on the phone then?"

"I wanted to speak with Mrs. Laura," I lied.

"What were you going to tell her, what was so important for you to tell her?"

He was asking questions as though he was a police investigator.

"I was just hoping I could make her talk with Miss. Lilian about her sister."

"Hmm..." He looked around the kitchen, "Pour that meal out, make something fresh."

"Yes, right away sir."

His eyes searched the utensils I was using to prepare his meal, he walked up to the fridge and took out a chilled Can of drink.

I marveled at how he did that, I couldn't take my eyes off the scene.
