Olivia Miller's POV

We only had three days to pack everything for the trip to Florida. I was obviously taking the dresses Alex bought for me but I also decided to take few casual clothes of mine.

I was yet to do the packing because of the intense days I was spending in my office. I'd be gone for a week hence I needed to complete my next week works and few days extra work as well. What if something happens and I had to stay there for more than a week? I didn't want to burden my colleagues with all my works. I hadn't seen Alex after he took care of me and gave me that ring. I honestly forgot to ask him if it was a promise ring then what was he promising to me?

It could be his family heirloom and he probably gave it to me cause of the act. I will give it back to him after a week when everything would be clear as water. Those days I was overworking.
