Chapter 33: Jack's Jazz...Wrong Reason; Right One

Jack sit down in the coffeeshop with a window view. He looked around. No seemed to pay any attention to him. His gaze focused outside. The streets seemed surprisingly busy. He had noticed William entering through a door in a building looking a bit run down.

“What can I get you?”

Jack looked up. The waitress stood waiting for him. He noticed she tried to place him. He looked out the window again before answering her.

“Black coffee no sugar,”

“Back in a second, sir.”

He noticed William making an appearance with a woman. Together they seemed to scan the street before walking down a side street. He kept his eyes fixed on them.

“Here you go sir,”

“Thank you.” He kept his eyes fixed outside.

“Are you looking for someone sir?”

Jack faced the woman openly. Her now noticed her curious expression has changed into friendliness.

“Tell me about that street?”

“What precisely do you want to know?”

“Tell me about the homeless shelter, and who runs it.”
