If Ed had not come in at that moment, I just knew I would have been dead meat. His entrance was a distraction to Dan and before Dan could pay attention to me, I was out of there and hiding behind Ed.

"What's going on?" He widened his eyes, looking at all the trash that the house had been converted to.

Not too long after, there were police sirens around us. The police officer that showed up had gotten my phone calls and they had come to the aid.

I explained myself to the first officer and they took Dan in after taking pictures of everything that had unraveled.

"How the fuck did he get in? That was so dangerous, he could have killed you." Ed said, looking around and shaking his head.
