"How did that happen?" I panicked internally. I had not been settled when he had said he got that disturbing call and so soon she was gone.

"I don't know, I can't make any sense of it. I don't know if she went with someone but none of her teachers can place a knowledge of her whereabouts." Frank was starting to lose his breath. I feared that he would lose control and pass out.

"Frank just calm down..."

"How can I? What's the poing of anything I'm doing then?" He snapped at me. I took no offense because I knew we were faced with a much deeper problem.

"Who else could have come for her?" I tried to see the positive to the situation rather than jumping to unhealthy conclusions.
