66~Thirst for Vengeance

“Hello, Aurora.”

My heart dropped to the ground as I moved to slam the door shut but as if sensing what I was about to do, he blacked the door with his shoe and slammed the door open. He barged into my house and locked the door, slipping the key into his breast pocket.

My eyes flashed with fury as I balled my hands into fists. A rollercoaster of emotions filled my mind. Standing here in front of me was the man I once loved with all my heart, the man I lay my heart to on a silver platter. The same man who tried to kill me seven years ago.

“What.” I gritted out. “The fuck are you doing here? How did you know where I lived?”

He leaned casually on the war as he pierced me with his gaze. “I must say Aurora, you were a pretty good actress, a pretender and overall, a pathetic liar.” He commented, ignoring my question.

My eyes drifted to the kitchen, all I needed to do was just take three steps and I'll have my hands on that knife. He hadn't noticed yet, as he continued looking at me.
