Amelia rolled her eyes at her television before reaching into her bowl of popcorn to grab a handful and stuff it into her mouth. The male lead and female lead in the film were so boring, she wondered why everyone was screaming about how interesting the film was. They both had no chemistry, or maybe she was the problem, not the film.

Amelia's mind was clouded with different thoughts. She would be twenty-six soon, and she was yet to get her mate to notice her. Her mother called her yesterday to tell her that her cousin sister had found her mate who was from a rich family, though his family had no special rank in the werewolf world. Her cousin had also called her to brag.

She had not told anyone about finding her mate. She wanted to see if she could get her mate by herself. She has gone out with Lucas two times again on a date; she would like to think so, but nothing special has happened between them. It only served to show her that he was not interested in her.
