“How could you?” I snarled as I grabbed Alpha Leo by the lapels of his crisp white shirt and pulled his head closer to mine.

“Erin!” From far away, I heard Alaric’s voice calling out to me but shoved his voice away.

Right now, anger, as I had never known, consumes me to take notice of anything else. Not even my mate could stop me as I released a punch, hitting Alpha Leo in the face.

It was a hard punch, and he fell backward due to the impact.
