Erin’s POV
“Were you able to get in touch with Ben?” I called Emma to my room, worried because I could not go through Alaric.
“I had been trying countless times to open the mind link so I could get word from Alaric, but I could not reach him.” I shook my head sadly, anxious that until now, I did not receive any word from my mate.
“The waiting is killing me.” I confided in Emma, who nodded at me in agreement. She, too, had not received any word from Ben.
“Where could they be?” I paced the room. My fingers lifted to my temple as I tried to establish a connection with Alaric.
