Ryan

Even covered in a layer of my coagulated blood, the world is still spinning.

Quivering, I raise my eyes from the carcass on the floor into the ruthless front of Marcus.

"Eat the meat," Marcus says. "Use it to recover so I can reshoot you."

Unwinding on a chair, he gracefully lifts a glass of wine to his lips. Finely-tailored clothes are hugging his body; meanwhile, I resemble a savage with bloodied pants and nothing to cover my upper body.

"And if I refuse?" I ask, smirking through the sweat and exhaustion draping over my body like a second skin. "It's not like you can kill me, or I wouldn't still be breathing!"

Marcus glares at me. Ache clamps onto my head, prompting me to groan in anguish while keeping my hands locked on my skull. Blood gushing into my ears, and I can feel it trickling down my nose. I fall to my knees, unable to fight the ringing headache.

"You're so annoying," Marcus steps into my prison cell, and soon

Ryan without his chains and trying to like, open up, and be a person is so wholesome for me. And did I write lizards into this story to write this silly scene that only I find funny? Maybe. Maybe I did.
