Her tears his regret

Hardin's POV

As I made my way home from work, thoughts of Freda consumed my mind. I found myself sitting in the backseat of the car, my hands resting on my jaw, deep in contemplation. Memories of our time together flooded my thoughts, and I couldn't help but reflect on everything that had transpired between us.

The horrible way I had treated her and even hurt the people she loved the most. The weight of my actions weighed heavily on my heart. I had hurt Freda so many times, and it pained me to see her sad because of me. I knew deep down that it was time to let her go, to release her from the pain I had caused. She deserved so much better than what I had to offer.

As I sat there, the car moving through the city streets, I felt a mix of emotions swirling within me. Regret, remorse, and a sense of resignation filled my being. It was a difficult decision to make, but I knew it was the right one. I couldn't bear to see Freda suffer any longer because of my actions.
