Aria's perspective

I shoved her aside gently and headed for the stairs. She scoffed, gripped my wrist, and spun me around to face her.

“What’s the meaning of this?” I asked and folded my hands defensively across my chest. I was thinking of having a word with her after what Silas told me about her. A lot had happened within these past weeks and I wasn’t able to reach out to her.

“I should be asking you, do you think you can move around because you have Neon’s mark on your neck? Do you have any idea what he would lose because of you?”

“Because of me or because of you?” I huffed and took a step closer to her. “Isn’t that way you are doing this? Have you forgotten you lied to me, Diana? You told me you were just a worker here meanwhile you were Neon’s temporary Luna. You said you cared about me but you lied, you did that so Neon would hate me.”

“So?” She uttered.

I gasped in unbelief.

That was what she had to say? She wasn’t going to apologize for what she did.
