Chapter 100

Eden's Point of View:

Eden opened her eyes slowly to see a creamy white wall ceiling in warm hospital lights. She tried to lift her head up but something was holding it back. She realized it was nothing physical, but the hammering headache that was making it hard to lift her head up. At first, she couldn't understand where she was, but when she saw a glucose drip on her wrist and the hospital curtains, she realized she was in the hospital. Everything was still blurry and it took her a minute to get back to her senses. When she woke up, a nurse saw her and called the doctor.

The doctor walked up to Eden and asked her, "How are you feeling Mrs. Mason?"

"There's a headache. It's really bad," said Eden as she massaged her temples and squinted her eyes in pain.

"Here, this will help," the doctor handed Eden a drink and helped her get up to drink it. She lay in the bed for a few minutes and felt the pain ceasing gradually.

"What happened to me?" Eden asked, confused. She didn't remember
