Chapter 60

Curtis's eyes were bloodshot, filled with burst blood vessels.

He coldly gazed at the seemingly self-righteous Margot in front of him, impulsively wanting to devour her alive.

He rose from the sofa without saying a word. He grabbed Margot's hand and dragged her upstairs.

Caught off guard, Margot stumbled along.

Once in the room, Curtis tossed her onto the bed and pressed her down. He raised his hand to slap her butt harshly.

"I told you I would break your legs if you dared escape."

He was genuinely furious.

For the entire night, he had been on edge, fearing something might happen to her, worried she might not return, terrified she might vanish forever.

Now, he couldn't release the pent-up anger in his heart unless he properly disciplined her.

Margot lay on the bed as her butt was stinging from the harsh blows.

The fiery pain made her cry out involuntarily.

"What's wrong with me leaving? I've signed the divorce agreement. We're already divorced. Why won't you let me go?
