Chapter 86

Curtis watched as he stood a short distance away. A wave of anger came over him.

"Is there no space in this big house for you to sleep, Margot?"

Margot was lying on her side, with her back against him. She pulled the throw blanket over herself and ignored him.

He walked to her front and stood there. He growled.

"Who are you trying to avoid like this? Do you think I will still touch you?"

Margot was very irritated. She sat up and met his gaze.

"I just like to sleep on the floor. Do you have a problem with that?"

She wasn't familiar with this place. Since this was the place that Ashley led her to, this was where she was going to spend the night.

She didn't know that Curtis would come in, too.

Now that the situation had come to this for them both, they were certainly not going to share the same bed anymore.
