Chapter Fifty-Two
◼Nikolas POV◼
“Fucking hurry!” Liam said, running next to me.
I ran inhumanly fast to the palace hospital. The witch had transported herself to the hospital. I was shocked; I didn’t know what was happening. All could think of was Rose’s limp body in my arms. Rose was no longer breathing, and I was panicking.
Reaching the hospital, the doctor and some nurses help me put Rose’s body in the bed. Liam grabbed me and drag me out. I try to struggle. Something in me was telling me not to leave her side. But what was it?
For the last hour, I’ve been pacing the hallway. I was panicking and struggling not to cry. I had a terrible feeling.

◼Nikolas POV◼ I walk unconsciously towards her bedroom. I was so lost in my thoughts that everything around me was a blur. I kept walking, ignoring everyone.
