Chapter Sixty

◼Rose POV◼

Somehow I had fallen asleep on the way. Feeling someone shaking me, I open my eyes and see my brother carrying me out of the car. I felt tired, the pain in the leg unbearable. So I let myself fall asleep in my brother’s arm.

Reaching the bedroom, I feel my brother laid me down in bed. Let the tiredness take over. I fall asleep. My body was finally aching; I could feel my leg hurting a lot. I didn’t want to move. So, I decided it was best to rest.

The following day, I woke up to the brightness of the sun. Sitting up in bed, I look at the mountains. It was a beautiful day. But, I felt something was different. 

Something had changed. A knock on the door distracts me from my thoughts. Letting the person in, I see my brother
