Watchful Eyes
Sammy slept restlessly. Her body has been tossing and turning all night long, coiled with tension and unspent passion. Her eyes suddenly flew opened and her gaze was sleepily fixed on the open bedroom door. She looked a while at the door before she realized she had locked it earlier in the night. Her heart immediately starts to pound heavily in her chest.
“Hello…” she crocked her voice. She licked over her dry lips trying to wet them. She had to swallow a couple of times to get her throat to swallow her spit.
“Is…anybody there?” she asked in a whispered tone.
Only silence was her answer. Slowly moving her body backwards with the intent to try and sleep again. This time she blinked several times and keep wiping repeatedly over her eyes but the darken shadow just stood there with his watchful eyes.

His face covered with a look of frustration as he went in search of his wayward guest.“Where on earth is that girl?” he said furiously to himself.“Why are you yelling Victor?” Yvette looked up from the stack of documents that lay around her. He quickly noticed a couple of confidential documents.“Where is Sammy?”“What do you want from her now?”“Not your bloody business.”“You would find her somewhere in the mansion. You had that girl so convinced she was in danger that she wouldn’t dare leave the grounds.” Yvette said with suppressed laughter in her voice.“Shut up Yvette, she might hear you.”“I doubt that. The girl was doing a wonderful job avoiding us.”
Heart’s DesireSammy swung back and forth in the hammock beneath the shady trees, her eyes closed as her mind wandered miles away, towards a different place and a different time. Her heartache ran so deeply, it felt as though it would break into a million pieces. Now it seems today was that day for a huge talk which would end up in an argument.“What happened outside Sammy? Why were you running? What did Victor Jensen did or says?”“There is nothing to worry about Charlie Victor and I had a bit of an argument.”“And as usual you are not going to explain why you still keep that man around. Are you involved?”“I am married, Charlie.”“I am beginning to wonder about that.”The lightly older woman had a curious look in her eyes.Sammy felt the sudden fury washed over her face.“What do you
