Chapter 25: Mara Is Jealous

Everyone has finally calmed down. The seraphims and Shane are sitting on a table with a demon as they discuss their agreement further.

Shane still could not believe that the impulsive girl who was with him since he was kid has turned into some manipulative bitch who manipulated even the seven seraphims.

If Lara was here when it happened, she would have thought that Mara is just gutsy and arrogant to go here by herself. Or maybe... she would have thought that Mara has pointed her blades to the people of Heaven and chose war instead of peace that she was talking about.

Shane could not deny that he thought of that for a second. Actually, there's a part of him that still believe that Mara did this not for peace.

"I expect you to live up to your words, Demon." The said before closing the door and flying up to the higher lands of Heaven.

Mara and Shane sighed in relief when the six seraphims has left. "I thought I was a dead meat," Mara mumbled.
