CAROLYN

As the lift drove her down from Shelby's apartment, Carolyn's mind was a riot of emotions. Why do I let her affect me this way, she kept asking herself with her lean frame resting on the wall of the lift. The mere thought of what happened on the table a few minutes ago made her clit jump. Damn it she has to stop thinking about the woman like this.

When the elevator came to a stop Carolyn walked out and headed out the lobby. 

Her phone rang while she was driving to work. 

" Hello, " she said into the phone.

" Where are you? " her partner's voice filtered into the phone with concern. It was unlike his partner to come in late. 

" On my way. Was out pursuing a lead. "

A few meters away from the precinct the smell of hotdog hit Carolyn's nose reminding her that she hasn't had anything to eat. She stopped and got herself some and a hot cup of coffee which she had quickly in her car before making her way to the precinct.
