My head started pounding like crazy as all those memories from 23 years ago flashed before my eyes. It felt like I was reliving everything all over again, and the intensity of those flashbacks was messing with my emotions.

I instinctively rubbed my temples, but that didn't ease the pain.

It was like my hands had a mind of their own, reaching for my face. I touched my lips, ran my fingers across my cheeks, as if I was trying to remind myself of my physical presence.

With a strong urge to tear my skins off, I had an inner battle with myself.

My face was fake, everything about me was fake. I had changed myself so much that I was beginning to forget who I truly was.

Years back, Aria's father provided me with shelter, and I was advised to undergo a life-changing surgery that would change even the most basic aspects of my physical appearance, such as the color of my hair.

WOW! I’m impressed author. I was dreading to continue to read on because I thought you were going to drag out the part about Hazel being Abigail’s mother, and not telling her. Bravo to you! I hope Abigail believe’s & understand why Hazel faked her death. GR8 CHAPTER!
