LOST IN YOUR GAZE

Prologue

During the splendor of the red moon, a woman struggled to try not to push so that her little child would not be born at that moment, she was desperate, she was so scared, she was so afraid, because that could not be true. Her little one was supposed to be born in two more weeks, but her child had anticipated his birth in that chaotic moment.

The kingdom of Murtis has been attacked by the king Sebastián, who had been in charge of declaring war on that place when he found out that the members of that majestic kingdom had done something illegitimate, something that was not granted to vampires and that was to marry humans. Vampires were the nobility, the privileged, only vampires married vampires and humans were nothing more than food, but it does not end there, King Sebastian had found out that the prince had got a human pregnant, that fact made him so angry, how were they so daring to do that? It was a sacrilege, an abomination, and he would kill them immediately.

"My queen must push, please push ..." The matron spoke with concern to that woman with black hair and beautiful blue eyes who refused to do so, she did not want her child to be born At that moment of misery, she didn't want any of it, so she cried, begging not to be allowed. "If you keep holding back, your child will die. Is that what you want, my queen? Please I beg you" The woman after sobbing endlessly agreed, taking for granted that was what she wanted, she wanted her creature to die, so that he would not be killed by the king, she wanted to end everything before it began, she wanted that the death that awaited them, it was not so horrible for his little heir, because ending up in the hands of that ruthless vampire was reaching a punishment worse than hell itself.

"I do not want... ¡ah...!" A strong pain settled in the lower part of her belly and without wishing it, the woman had pushed, thus making a little girl with red hair and white skin come out of her interior. She was covered in blood, which made the queen cry even more, seeing the future that accompanied her and her daughter reflected in that image, it was her end, the end of her daughter. "Please run away with her, Delaila, give her to my brother, make sure that she is never reached by the demon king... please..."

The old woman looked at the queen and filled with fear she agreed, with her heart racing for hours and with the great thought that she owed a lot to this woman who had loved and respected her, it was the least she could do, she should help her survive at least that little girl, this one without more, wrapped the little girl in a wool blanket, to cover her from the atrocious cold of autumn that lay in those lands, but then with a significant pain in her heart, she gave a look full of pain to the queen before managing to go down that corridor, through which the queen was supposed to escape before the delivery was early, while the king was doing everything possible to retain King Sebastian for as long as possible, so that she could escape together her little heiress.

Apparently things would not go as planned, apparently she would die like her husband, but before leaving, the queen said what was still missing "Delaila… her name is Luna, that is her name… in honor to the great goddess of the moon and in honor of this horrifying night, which will mark her future, please tell her that." Delaila nodded and immediately left the place, making sure not to be seen by any soldier from both the enemy side and the kingdom itself, leaving the queen to her fate and praying that she had an immediate death and did not suffer under the hand of the demon king.

The queen mourned the loss of her daughter and husband, she would leave her little girl to her fate, she would not be the mother that she ever prayed to be, she would not see her grow up as she had once dreamed with her husband, her little girl would not be the great princess that she hoped she will be, she just hoped that she had a beautiful life, because she knew perfectly well that for her part she would not survive, she knew it the moment that man with black hair and red eyes walked through the door with the head of her husband in his hands demonstrating that it was her end, demonstrating that great love was cursed from the first moment, torturing her for not being strong enough to accept to be a vampire before marrying, she was the culprit of the end of the kingdom of Murtis, she was the only one to blame for that war being fought by not allowing the blood tie.

The great King Sebastian or as he was called by his subjects, the demon king, he heard her from the entrance of the castle, he managed to hear her cry, her call, now he was in the room of that human, who had committed that injury, who had cursed the lands of Murtis, but that was not what It bothered him, what bothered him was that she was not there, where was his partner? At that moment he knew it, he knew that the human had given birth to his beloved on the red moon, the human that he had sworn to murder and be forgotten by all his world, the human who had made the sacrilege of becoming pregnant with A vampire, the one who had the audacity to give birth to the stain in her lineage, was now to blame for the fact that his future wife had been born of her and the worst of it was she had had the audacity to hide it.

"Where is...?" The queen knew what he meant, she knew he was talking about her daughter, it was well known that the king had come to eliminate her little girl and that she would not allow it

"You have already finished with everything I love, I will not allow you to finish with the only thing that remains of the great love that I give to my king, the one of whom you pride yourself with his head... so kill me at once, because I will never tell you..." that had made him even more angry, so he furiously approached the woman and took her heart out coldly without any compassion.

The king seeing the heart of the queen in one hand, and the head of the ancient king in the other, cursed himself for his anger and bad character, he had annihilated the parents of his beloved, by all the heavens and the gods, Why couldn't he control that temper a bit? But something deep inside him knew very well that he did not regret having murdered them, he regretted that everyone would know it, they would know that he was in charge of exterminating that place and its kings, his beloved would know sooner or later, she would hate and reject him, no, he would not allow it, he would look for her and see that she never knew that action

Derek and Dramus entered the chambers and managed to notice the king's flashing red eyes, which indicated that he was very angry, he was so angry that he did not want to be disturbed, it was not a novelty, but as he was observed, it could be noted that he was lost in his deepest thoughts, so they were silent, waiting for him to calm down a bit and say what had him so thoughtful.

"Look for her, I don't know what she is like, but find her, she must be around here, what are you waiting for, find her..." the men looked at each other,

Who were he referring to? Who should they look for? How was the person they were looking for? But before they could ask, the king spoke again "She is a newborn, maybe she is with a woman, possibly an old enough woman, the matron, you deal with tracking my queen, do it before I ripped up the heart of each one" the men nodded at the king's orders, so they searched all over the place, but there was no trace of the little girl that the king was looking for, in which every woman with a small newborn was delivered to the demon king, who immediately denied showing his reluctance and anger at not finding her and so the years passed, years in which she could not be found, years in which she could not find her little girl, wishing that she would be treated wherever she was as the queen that she really was, praying that his beloved did not find out who had caused her to grow up without her Parents, years in which his longing became more than a necessity, for the great King Sebastian, the great demon king, the great King of all, he sought her out and waited day after day
